Youth Camp

I woke up @ 4:00 AM without a feeling of haste or excitement. Only like the usual, I felt like sleeping for a little more. But I had no choice, I had to leave the house before 6:00, so I just closed my eyes and prayed. It was around 8:00 AM when we arrived Angels Hills. The place was really lovely. It was so peaceful and cold in there. Upon arriving, we already headed to the session hall and had our first session. The first facilitator is ate Glendz. We talked about who is God to us and had our group activity in the gazebo outside the hall. :3 Our group sharing left me different impressions, I didn't expect my group mate's answers and such. To sum it all up, within that day, we had about 4 sessions. And we slept @ 11:00 PM. O_O Although my regular sleeping time is really 9:00 PM.

They woke me up @ 5:00 AM. I was kind of in a rush because it takes 50 minutes to dry my hair plus, I didn’t bring my blower. So I bathed and dressed up as quickly as I could. Good thing the facilitators weren’t awake yet even though the meeting time was really 6:00 AM. O_O So we waited until 6:30 AM and went to the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters also known as "The pink sisters". We were amazed at the very scene right after we stepped in. The mass was about to start, so we knew we were pretty much on time. The pink sisters were really cute. Not only because of their color but because of the way they move, walk and speak. Right after the mass, all of us wrote our personal petitions and dropped it in their drop box. It is believed that people’s petitions prayed by the pink sisters will be granted.^^ So right after that, we went back to the hall, ate breakfast, packed our things and headed to the bus. Our youth camp wasn’t over yet, I knew there was gonna be a super surprise in our last session. It took us 2 hours and a half to get back to school. Upon our arrival, we ate lunch and went to the auditorium. Each student was seated in corner by corner. So we were really far from each other. T_T As I put my things down, I felt a bit of heat and pain beneath my hands due to the weight. All students were asked to sit down on the stage, so we did. It was really bright in there. X_X The bright lights were slightly ignited upon my face. After a few minutes, we started our last session. First, we recalled our sessions the day before that. I yawned for like every 5 minutes knowing that I hadn’t gotten enough sleep the night before that. The tearing part was when our facilitator gave the letters from our parents. As we were reading, we were asked to close our eyes and let us feel the silence wrapped in the atmosphere. The facilitator told us a touching story as our eyes were still kept closed. I didn’t really mind the story, I just thought mom and dad’s letter so I cried. I didn’t want others to see me crying like crazy so I bowed down and wiped my tears every now and then. After a few minutes, I felt a sudden change of ambiance and saw my dad with my little brother. I didn’t expect them to come and I really didn’t want them to see me crying. So I gave them a warm embrace and carried my little brother down the stage and headed to my seat. My dad asked how was our youth camp so I was like “Uhh-” because I was really sleepy at that moment plus I cried, so my eyes were a little painful. After the session, we quickly went to my teacher and got my report card and went home.
